Lita Ford

Carmelita Rossana Ford was born in London, England. At age four, her family moved to Los Angeles, USA at10 years old she got her first nylon stringed guitar that was as quickly exchanged for an electric guitar. In his early teens, she played in several bands with guys. She was discovered by a manager and was did a audition for a girl band, Joan Jett and Sandy West were impressed by Lita's style of play and "The Runaways" was born. After five albums and touring the world splintered "The Runaways" in 1979 after musical differences.
1983 released Lita Ford his debut solo album "Out For Blood" but it was only on her second solo album, "Dancin 'On The Edge" in 1984 as it began to move the single "Gotta Let Go" became a minor hit and the music video for "Gotta Let Go "where Lita Ford plays a not so ordinary housewife was spinning hot on Mtv.

Now it will be intresting the next album "The Bride Wore Black" was recorded  but was not released because Lita did not like the production the label's CEO became upset and Lita changed record company to this date, the album has not  been released.
In 1988 it was time for her self-titled album, which exploded. The album was full of hits, songs like "Kiss Me Deadly" "Back To The Cave" along with "Close My Eyes Forever" (which she does a duet with Ozzy) took the airwaves and accompanying music videos went red hot on Mtv.1990  the"Stiletto"  album was released where  her image was toned down and the music direction was changed slightly all according to the label's desire. This was not appreciated by the fans or the Lita herself and after the album sold poorly. So Lita took back to her usual style musically and image wise on the album "Dangerous Curves" in 1991 where she had a hit with the song "Shoot of Poison".
